Young Lady Dies From Abortion Complications In Bauchi, 4 Arrested
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO,
of the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP
Haruna Mohammed, Sunday, confirmed
the arrest of four suspects who allegedly
killed a 25-year-old lady, one Rose Luka,
through abortion complications.
Disclosing this to newsmen in Bauchi, the
PPRO gave the names of the suspects as
Hillary Joseph, Mudasshiru Bako, Nasiru
Haruna and Hamisu Yashi.

medicine seller, Bako, 30, of the same
address, who reportedly administered and
sold the abortion drugs to the victim, was

“Preliminary investigation revealed that
the victim allegedly died as a result of
complications from abortion.
“The scene of crime was visited by
Forensic experts attached to Criminal
investigation department and corpse
exhumed, photographed and taken to
Bauchi University Teaching hospital for
autopsy,” Mohammed added.
The PPRO further revealed that exhibits
recovered from the suspects includes, two
Shovels, one sachet of Diclofene tablets,
one sachet of menbendezalen with four
tablets, Daltic five tablets, Predimisolene
Eight tablets, Bunto blood tonic and a
bottled water mixed with substance
suspected to be drugs.
