NDLEA seizes N2.5m Indian hemp in Zaria
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA,
says it has seized Indian hemp and some other drugs
worth N2.5 million in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Mr Sunday Azinge, the Zonal Commander of the agency
in Zaria, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria,
NAN, on Friday.
Azinge said that the agency had also arrested 17
suspects including a 70-year-old man in connection
with the crime.
He said the intercepted drugs include; 96 bags of
cannabis valued at N25,000 each and 67 compressed
wraps valued at N7,000 each.
He said the seizure and arrest were made by the
agencys drug task force.
