Man who kidnapped and sexually abused friends’ toddler for child porn jailed for life
A sick paedophile has been jailed for life for kidnapping
his friends’ toddler and sexually abusing the child to
produce child pornography , prosecutors said.
Shawn McCormack was found guilty of four counts of
sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of
kidnapping during a four-day trial.
The 31-year-old, from Colorado Springs, stayed overnight
with the child’s parents on multiple occasions under the
pretence of befriending them, the trial heard.
Several times, he snuck their toddler out of the home, in
Bakersfield, California, in the middle of the night and
recorded himself sexually abusing the child at locations
including his truck and a nearby motel.
